Fives farm started with a few feeder pigs raised to provide quality meat for our family. After a year or so our daughter expressed interest in breeding and raising pigs to show in 4H so we purchased show pigs and she showed in the Frederick fair and state fair. After a year or two, we wanted to compete at a higher level and carefully selected foundation sows from all over the United States to breed to some of the best boars in the country. It is from there that Fives Farm was started. We continue to breed piglets only from proven genetic lines to provide the best quality show pigs that we can. We currently show and breed Hampshires, Berkshires, Yorkshires, Landrace, Durocs and occasional crosses.
